Imposition made easy
dots Pilot 2 facilitates production of a wide variety of digital print products ranging from reduced-sized forms and business cards to entire booklets. It allows the page order, size, orientation and format to be changed, margins and marks to be added and documents to be printed without a centre margin and booklets made ready for stitching or binding.
Digital printing systems offer a wide range of finishing options, e.g. for creating stitched or bound booklets and printing them without a centre margin. But users need to be certain that the pages of a document are arranged in the correct order for finishing. The process of laying out the pages on a press sheet is known as imposition or sheet assembly. An imposition tool ensures that all the pages are in the right order. dots Pilot 2 is an easy-to-use imposition tool that requires no prior skills and allows finishing to be performed on a Develop finisher or any other system. dots Pilot 2 works with any Develop digital system equipped with a PostScript controller and is particularly recommended for A3 systems.
